New One G1 Kernel

I’ve uploaded a new test kernel for the One G1 which, I THINK, sharply reduces the number of times it reboots. Please test and comment if it works fine for you for a whole day at least. πŸ™‚

Kernel Development Pause

As many of you might’ve noticed, I’ve been a bit slow on updates recently. This is because of two things: a busy work schedule and something new I’ve learned for my kernel development. Anyways, right now I can’t quite integrate it into my work since I’m quite busy. I might have to pause development for a while until work lets up. πŸ™

One G1 Update!

Just uploaded a new kernel for the One G1! Hopefully the reboots are fixed due to a recode on some parts. If not well, more work awaits! :p

Kernel Updates!

Another round of stability updates! Finally fixed the Nexus 7 2013 sensor bug…I hope… :p Btw, devices updated are Huawei Watch, Nexus 7 2013 and Moto X 2014. πŸ™‚

Bricked Kernels v2

I just uploaded new versions of my kernels with bricked hotplug capability for the G Watch R and Huawei Watch! These now have improved algorithm based on my personal research on core use/activity together with some code optimizations so that it runs faster overall. I’ve also modified the NwN thresholds so that it’s harder for it to enable more cores thus keeping use of a single core unless REEEEEEAAAALLY necessary. :p

Bricked Kernels

I just uploaded new kernels for the G Watch R and Huawei Watch. These just “refine” the power saving mod I made. Also, I’ve published TEST KERNELS for both which use the bricked_hotplug code by showp1984. This is anΒ in-kernel replacement for MPDecision so let me know of your experience during actual use! πŸ™‚

Thoughts

Due to the emerging problem with Marshmallow’s increased security, I’ve begun looking for MPDecision replacements. Lately, I’ve found bricked_hotplug to be quite “sane” in terms of programming style so I’m thinking of using that instead of MPDecision. What do you all think? Chime in on the comments! :p

Kernel Fix for the One G1

Just uploaded a fix for the frequent reboots on the One G1. My device has gone more than 30 minutes with mobile data enabled so I’m optimistic that this one addressed that odd issue. :/

Kernel Fixes for Huawei Watch & One G1

I’ve just uploaded new kernels to fix the reboot issues on the Huawei Watch and One G1…well, at least in my testing in which I replicated the reboots it should work now. :p

As an added bonus, multicore capability has been restored for the Huawei Watch thanks to bouchigo! πŸ˜€
